Anyway, I'm sorry, but COLTON IS SUCH A RETARD! He says that Naruto is from America (sorry, I know I put Japan first, I was really worked up, but I fixed it now!) which, I know, is not true. I watch the freaking Japanese version! (Hel-LO Shippuuden!). THEN he said that it's NOT anime because it's from America (which it's NOT)! *slaps forehead(yeah, I really did this, and it hurt because I meant it TTATT)*

Anime is a genre, right? Like rock and roll. If, say, Pat Benatar (I know this isn't right, but it's just an example.) started rock and roll, and then later, in Ireland, The Cranberries started playing rock and roll, it's still rock and roll, right? Just played by someone different! Anime is the same. How many of you have seen Avatar: the Last Airbender? that's anime! even though it was done in America, it's the same genre! It's doesn't HAVE to be done in Japan for it to magically be anime. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THAT MAKE?!?!?!?!

Actually Naruto did come from Japan. When I was 8 I watched it, (i'm asian, mkay, i no how it feels) it was way different than it was before. there was no such thing as sakura. sasuke. he was grown up and mature. i hate wat america did to it.
im an anime lover and i agree wit u. ^^ (except for da last part) anime rules.
anime isn't a genre. it's a type. like, coffee. type of drink. anime. type of show. a genre is like mystery or comedy, and i assure you, there is all kinds in anime.
